More about the American Heroes Of War World War II Multi Media eMagazine

The stories are critically essential in several areas. Fundamentally, it is hard to believe that so many young people have no awareness of World War II let alone the enormous role it has played in the freedoms they enjoy today. The facts and figures in history books are important but AHOW brings those events to life by actually hearing from those who lived them in the first person, vividly telling their stories and sharing their recollections. For many, these heroic men and women are the Greatest Generation.

I have conducted over 70 full length interviews, ranging from 2-5 hours with American servicemen from World War II and Korea, including 3 Medal of Honor Recipients and numerous Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipients who fought in every major battle during World War II from North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Normandy, The Battle of the Bulge, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Coral Sea and Midway.

The stories are rich in honor and sacrifice and devastating in the loss of life and dignity.

We hope to share their lives with you and take you back in time to the 1940's through not only their stories, but the media of the time, the pictures, advertisements, movie trailers, and radio broadcasts.
